Colophon

I am a web designer, web developer, business owner, coffee drinker, and husband. Noble Giant is the company I started in 2009. I did this to alleviate the legal headaches of working as a contracter, but also to be an outlet for my personal work. I've had the sincerest pleasure of doing business and thinking creatively with and for a number of clients during my career.

I am fluent in a concise but pragmatic number of technologies, languages and applications. This includes PHP, MySQL, Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and I dabble some in Objective-C.

For quite a while I've loved art and creating things. At the age of 6, I sketched my first picture of a pirate ship and built my first replica medieval castle out of printer paper and Scotch tape. Many Ed Emberly books and model airplanes later, I discovered computers. Much to the demise of my parents, I successfully destroyed an unfortunate handful PCs while disassembling them throughout my early teenage years. Soon after, my casual teenage life of burning up motherboards and playing Counter-Strike all night came to a halt. Posed with the task of selecting a major for college, I chose to fuse my early love for art and intrigue for computers into that of Web Design.

As a freshman at Chattahoochee Tech, I quickly landed my first design job at an advertising agency in the suburbs of Atlanta. I interned my way through print prep, billboard ads, vector maps, and Flash banners for a whole 12 months before deciding to risk it all as a freelancer.

After 3 years of freelancing through print and web projects, I decided to make this thing official and in November of 2009 I started Noble Giant. Currently, I run my business solo and spend most of my time sub-contracting and freelancing. I work as lead developer at RootRadius where we equip causes to tell their story.
